WATCH: Bill Maher Makes DISGUSTING Comment About Black People, Doesn’t Realize He’s Actually A FULL BLOWN Racist

Bill Maher, the host of HBO’s Real Time, is known for his crass and vulgar commentary as well as far left leaning viewpoints and political diatribes. However, it seems he decided to step it up a notch in his recent assessment of the second amendment.

He referenced to an article in the Daily Kos featuring an annotated Constitution produced by the New York Times available only in print form and proceeds to frame the Second Amendment was composed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution at the founding of the United States for the mere purpose of controlling slaves.

WHAT??  So all of that “giving the common man the ability to rise up against a tyrannical government” was nonsense because it was all for the purpose of maintaining slavery?

Is this guy high?

Quoting so-called historian Garry Willis, Maher states –

“Because [Garry Wills] says the Second Amendment ‘shows just how far the poison of slavery pervaded the Constitution. It was intended to protect slaveholders who used militias to keep a firm grip on their slaves. It wasn’t meant to let individuals prevent federal tyranny. How could it? It was meant to guarantee the legality of well-regulated militias to handle the states’ internal problems, especially the problem of a large slave population.’”

Maher then went on to make the claim that Americans broadly apply their double standards in their perceptions of mass murderers of varying racial backgrounds while in the same breathe quantifying Islam as a race rather than a religion, and a wildly bloody and oppressive one at that.

Maher states –

“I know it drives Republicans crazy when liberals say everything is about race and everything isn’t about race. But I feel like guns is the one area where, if you can’t see a giant difference between the way black and white are treated in America with guns, I think there’s a little racism in you. I mean, show the Roy Moore video. Here’s a politician waving a gun at a rally. Could you get away with doing that?

There you go. And the Vegas shooter himself, you know, it seems like when the shooter — if he was Muslim, certainly it would have been about, “Let’s — we got to get the ban going.” If he was a Mexican, it would be about the wall. And I feel like, when it’s the white guy, it’s like, “We don’t know how this happened.” But they don’t, you know, we don’t —

I feel like it never gets to be an isolated incident if you’re a minority. They always drag in the, you know, and this guy was from a broken home, his father was a criminal, you know, that would be big on Fox News, I feel like.”

Of course, Maher had his guest panelists full of sycophants and yes men to further promote that leftists agenda that everything is about race and that we should see racism in the most innocuous of places. Naturally, all hard left Democrats and they of course unequivocally agreed with Maher’s assessment – MSNBC’s Steve Schmidt, Harold Ford Jr., and New York Magzine‘s Olivia Nuzzi were Maher’s panelists for the discussion if you want to label it with that generous of a term.

More from the so-called historian Gary Willis and the Daily Kos to put this level of crazy talk on full display, such gems as evolution and global warming would likely be issues for the Founding Fathers according to Willis.  He states –

“The founders were at the forefront of science in their day. They would have been astonished had they foreseen a president and his government defying science in matters like evolution and global warming.”

Willis also underscores that America was the first nation to be founded as a secular nation and he underscored the secular nature of the US Constitution, stating –

“This is the one entirely innovative element in the Constitution: Everything else—separated powers, federalism, the single executive, bicameralism, and independent judiciary—had been known in theory or practice, or both. Only this was truly new. Ours was the first nation started without the assistance of an official deity or cult.”

Never mind that whole pesky concept written out by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence –

“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness…”

God or the divine is actually mentioned at least once in each of the 50 state constitutions and nearly 200 times overall, according to a Pew Research Center analysis. A handful of state constitutions explicitly prohibit those who do not believe in God from holding public office though it is generally no longer enforced.

Willis also went on to add he felt that “the disestablishment concept was in fact so new that many people have questioned whether Madison really meant it.”

“That is why so many logical consequences of separation between church and state have in practice been denied—resulting in “exceptions,” things like tax exemption for churches, state slogans like In God We Trust, legislative and military chaplaincies…””

Ummm….

I will sum it up this way for Willis since it appears that at least in my own humble opinion and that of the history that I read Willis does not have a very concrete understanding of America’s foundation. The Supreme Court of Florida concluded in 1950 that “Different species of democracy have existed for more than 2,000 years, but democracy as we know it has never existed among the unchurched. A people unschooled about the sovereignty of God, the Ten Commandments and the ethics of Jesus, could never have evolved the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. There is not one solitary fundamental principle of our democratic policy that did not stem directly from the basic moral concepts as embodied in the Decalogue and the ethics of Jesus . . . No one knew this better than the Founding Fathers.”

So Bill Maher, you may want to choose a different “historian” to quote when attempting to race bait and do away with the fundamental principle of bearing arms found in the Second Amendment.
