AOC Shocks Nation with “Jesus” Superbowl Attack – Her True Colors Just Came Out

Sharing is caring!

What’s Happening:

Millions of people around the world tuned in to watch the Superbowl over the weekend. During the epic sporting event, many of them saw a TV ad mentioning Jesus. A Christian group aid an ad that stated “Jesus loved the people we hate.”

It was a powerful message that transcends the anger and division that our nation is facing these days. Something that everyone, even politicians, could get behind, right? We should put aside our hate because, despite our differences, Jesus does love everyone. Even Washington lawmakers can applaud that.

Oops!

From Fox News:

The Christian group He Gets Us reportedly spent $20 million on two Super Bowl advertisements that showed Jesus as someone with empathy for immigrants and the poor, who was also tired of the division of politics.

“Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a tweet.

What a joke. A group that is funded by Christian business people, as well as anonymous donors, air an ad to reach people that “have often felt unwelcome by Christianity.” What harm is it in doing that? And they aired it during the Superbowl, so millions of Americans could get a good message.

But, apparently, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn’t get the message. She immediately took to Twitter to complain that Jesus wouldn’t make “fascism look benign.” Okay, so apparently AOC thinks everyone should love and accept everyone… unless they are fascists.

Fascists are the only people Jesus wouldn’t love and try to help. Am I getting that right, Alex? You’re on board with loving others, as long as they don’t disagree with your socialist leanings?

Talk about missing the point! The aid was meant to emphasize the fact that, despite our differences (even deep differences) God still loves us. And we should do the same. Despite all our political disagreements, at the end of the day, we still need to love our neighbors.

Yet AOC is such a bitter partisan, so hellbent on pushing her self-centered agenda, she totally missed the point. Yet again, she tweeted before she thought, and embarrassed herself. I’m sure the irony has not been lost on millions of Americans–that AOC doesn’t love people who think differently than her.

Sadly, she is the very person the ad was trying to reach. And she rejected it instantly.

Key Takeaways:

  • A Christian group aired a Superbowl ad stating “Jesus loved the people we hate.”
  • Democrat socialist AOC immediately criticized the ad, attacking “fascism.”
  • The far-left Democrat missed the point and proved the ad at the same time.
