Americans Strike Back Against Biden’s Holy Grail – In 2022, Citizens Set One of Highest Years on Record for Gun Purchases

Joe Biden has long claimed to be a “man of the people.” But as president, his decisions seemed to help the super-rich (and foreign powers) far more than they’ve helped regular Americans. In fact, many of Biden’s biggest moves have put Americans in great danger, from the open border to collapsing economy.
But one of Biden’s schemes would have destroyed one of America’s most important freedoms. He ordered Congress numerous times to restrict this constitutionally-protected right. Biden went on to use the DOJ and other agencies to set new limits on Americans. I wonder what he’s going to say when he gets a load of this new record?

FBI figures show nearly 31.5 million NICS checks were conducted in 2022. The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Mark Oliva noted that of those nearly 30 million background checks, 16,425,484 were for gun sales.
The 16,425,484 background checks for gun purchases make 2022 the third highest year on record of NICS checks for gun sales.
Wow. Biden has made one of his top priorities as president to restrict gun ownership in America. He has tried to get Congress to pass numerous gun control measures. Those included restrictions on magazine size and other limits on who can buy guns and how.
But Americans struck back in 2022 against Biden’s agenda. The year was the third highest on record for background checks for gun purchases. According to FBI data, well over 16 million guns were sold in the U.S.
Keep in mind, that doesn’t include gun transfers and sales in states that don’t require background checks, such as private sales. That means, the actual number of guns sold in 2022 is much higher than 16 million.
Biden and Democrats want us to believe that the existence of guns is the cause of crime. But far too often we’ve seen crime stopped when a good guy with a gun opposes a bad guy with a gun. And it doesn’t seem most Americans are buying the left’s anti-gun narrative.
An increasing number of Americans are buying firearms. Many for the first time. Our rights are alive and well across the country–despite what Biden is trying to do.
