Sharon Osbourne fired back at newly demoted CXNN anchor Don Lemon calling the network’s new morning man ‘ignorant.’ Sharon has a new show “Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back” streaming on Fox Nation where she settles some scores.
Sharon was canceled and lost he job on CBS’s daytime talk show “The Talk” last year for defending Piers Morgan after the woke mob came for him for criticizing Meghan Markle.
Sharon said Of Don Lemon: “He turned against me. He never called for a quote. He never called for his statement, and he turned against me. And I was a big fan of his. He used to do the New Year’s Eve show, and he would get drunk and he’d be in clubs, and I thought he was a hoot.
“I really did. But, I just thought, ‘How ignorant of you not to ask the other side,’ because that’s your job.
“That’s what you’re meant to do. So, I thought, ‘I’m not watching you on New Year’s Eve again.’”
“That was so disturbing on so many levels,” says Jemele Hill, reacting to “The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne’s remarks about racism and her support for Piers Morgan after his controversial comments about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. https://t.co/FcaJxfFfMy pic.twitter.com/WyKBZc42pY— Don Lemon Tonight (@DonLemonTonight) March 16, 2021
Sharon said she has no regrets about losing her job at CBS and is happy to have landed at Fox Nation:
“I don’t regret it at all. Piers is not a racist, never has said anything racist, never written anything that you could consider racist. It’s not in him, and I’ve known him for 30 years.”
“I honestly think that CBS, because the world loved the interview, and it was Piers Morgan who said, ‘Hold on here, there are 17 lies that’s been told – it’s one-sided,’” Osbourne said of Piers calling out Meghan Markle.
“I didn’t agree with everything Piers said, but I still agreed he had the right to say whatever he wanted.
“I know myself that if Jack had taken this project anywhere else, they wouldn’t have taken it because people were very afraid to deal with somebody that’s been canceled.
“They are very afraid.
“Everybody walks on eggshell, everybody wants to be politically correct, and they just don’t want to deal with you. Fox said, ‘We have no problem.’
“I have nothing against anyone except CBS.
“I wouldn’t trust CBS as far as I could throw them.
According to Fox News:
“Osbourne was terminated from her role as a co-host of CBS’s daytime talk show “The Talk” last year when she defended Piers Morgan amid accusations that he was racist for comments critical of Meghan Markle.
“Lemon covered the ordeal on his primetime show and said he was “enraged” by Osbourne telling co-host Sheryl Underwood not to cry during a heated conversation.
“Lemon then brought on far-left former ESPN host Jemele Hill, who said “Osbourne had a full-on temper tantrum” while the duo lectured her on race.”
