Hillary Clinton Opens Mouth, Inserts Foot: “Was I happy when I beat Donald Trump by nearly 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College”

Sharing is caring!

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is out promoting her new show so she is taking swipes at her nemesis former President Donald Trump.

Hillary told CBS News she believes Jan 6 ‘was a seditious conspiracy against the United States, led by Trump and instigated by Trump and that is a crime.” Hillary quickly gave up the game however and proved her bitterness still lingers from 2016. And that she still views Trump as ‘illegitimate.’

The popular vote does not count in presidential elections except to allow a loser to boast that they ‘really’ won. Whether she wants to admit it or not, Hillary is casting doubt on the electoral system, something she says Trump is guilty of, when she makes these comments.

She said:

“Was I happy when I beat Donald Trump by nearly 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College? No, I was not happy.

“Did I ever for a nanosecond think, ‘I’m gonna claim victory and try to get the Democrats to refuse to certify the election’? No.”

As for the raid on Mar-a-Lago Hillary said her case is different than Trump’s. She said:

“I can’t believe we’re still talking about this, but my emails…As Trump’s problems continue to mount, the right is trying to make this about me again. There’s even a ‘Clinton Standard.’ The fact is that I had zero emails that were classified.

“Comey admitted he was wrong after he claimed I had classified emails. Trump’s own State Department, under two different Secretaries, found I had no classified emails. That’s right: ZERO.

“I’m more tired of talking about this than anyone, but here we are. If you’re interested in the facts, you can read more here.”

National security lawyer Bradley P. Moss wasn’t buying it and debunked Hillary. He said:

“I hate to do this, Madame Secretary, but that’s not entirely accurate.

“None of the emails were properly *marked* as classified.

“That is true, and is distinct from Trump’s situation.

“There was “spillage” however of *information* within the unmarked emails that was classified.

“Most of that spillage was due to retroactive classification.

“And later reviews found you were not individually culpable for the spillages of information.

“But it is not accurate to say there was no classified information.”

Trump does face potential legal exposure on an obstruction charge for not handing over all the documents when he said he had, but now that the government has the docuements, and especially after judge Cannon’s decision, it is hard to see DOJ bringing that charge.
