Obama Staffer Tells USA Why Joe Biden’s Been So Lousy As POTUS: “One of the weakest administrations in modern times, full of beltway insiders and influence peddlers who love the status quo
Walter Shaub was the director of the United States Office of Government Ethics under former President Barack Obama. He was and still is a fierce critic of former President Donald Trump. He is coming clean, finally, about why Joe Biden has been such a lousy president.
Trump got a lot of flack from the media and the establishment because he was an outsider and brought in outsiders to run his administration. They didn’t know how the government worked and didn’t care.
Whether you like Trump or not he got the job done. The record, especially when you compare it with Bidens, is clear. High gas prices? Trump had a similar problem (but with negative oil prices) during the pandemic and as with Biden right now, only Saudi Arabia could help stabilize prices.
The Saudis did what Trump wanted and the crisis was averted. MBS won’t even take Biden’s phone calls and we have $6 gas.
The baby formula shortage would never have happened under Trump not because his staff was on top of everything, but because they would have leaked it to get Trump’s attention.
They wanted to help Trump succeed and if the story didn’t paint Trump in a flattering light so be it.
But Biden’s team wants to protect and hide Joe at all costs.
They didn’t bother telling Joe Biden until April about the baby formula crisis. April.
And they let him babble on about it in March, “We moved as quickly as a problem became apparent to us, if we’d been better mind readers, I guess we could have,” he said.

But Biden went off script yesterday and gave up the game. According to Politico:
“Pressed by reporters after the meeting about the White House waiting until spring to respond, despite the fact that formula manufacturers knew right away that there would be problems, Biden responded, ‘They did, but I didn’t.’ He added that he didn’t realize the seriousness of the infant formula shortages until ‘early April.’”
This is simply unacceptable.
Senator Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn wants to know why Biden is doing such a lousy job and asked: “You look at what this administration is doing, and you say, Are they doing this intentionally? Or are they inept?’”
That is the question.
But it turns out it is neither. It is worse. It is indifference.
According to Shaub, they just want to protect their grift and their influence and clueless Biden is the perfect man for the job.
Shaub said: “I’m sorry, I know people love the guy and he’s better than the other guy, but this will go down in history as one of the weakest administrations in modern times, full of beltway insiders and influence peddlers who love the status quo and don’t comprehend this moment in history.
“One side of the political aisle thinks “you don’t need democracy,” and the other one thinks “you don’t need democracy as long as the ‘good guys’ are in charge.” We had a guy who thought he was President of Red States, now we have a guy who thinks he’s President of 1991.
“After Nixon, Carter fought for government ethics reform. After Trump, Biden has been rotating influence peddlers from SKDK, West Exec, and gigantic law firms through the administration on a conveyor belt, and a milk lobbyist is running the Agriculture Department.”
Trump’s team were outsiders jockeying for positions to help their careers but they were not trying to protect Trump or hide anything from the public.
They were leaking, in many cases, to help Trump do a better job.
Trump was the most transparent administration in history. He listened to the public and changed course when needed. He brought a private-sector mentality to the job and fired those who couldn’t cut it.
The results speak for themselves.
Biden’s team wants to protect Joe and thius their jobs and influence. This is their time to cash in.
Russia and Ukraine are in a stalemate. Do you think Trump would, no questions asked, pump billions into another country’s war if doing so may destabilize the world and cause mass famine?
I doubt it.
But if he did we would know why. Biden seems to find out what he is going to do when he reads it on a teleprompter.
