Anonymous Hero Steps Up in Texas – He Just Gave $175,000 to Pay for All the Families’ Funerals

Sharing is caring!

Americans continue to mourn the horrible events of Uvalde, TX. Families in the Southern Texas town will struggle with the pain for years to come.

While some push politics and talking points, others are taking meaningful action. And one anonymous Good Samaritan is taking at least one burden off the victims’ shoulders.

From New York Post:

A mysterious good Samaritan will pay for the funerals of all victims of the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott said Friday.

“An anonymous donor provided $175,000 to ensure that every cost of every family concerning anything about funeral services is going to be taken care of,” Abbott said at a press conference announcing resources for victims of the mass shooting in Uvalde.

“No family who is suffering from incalculable heartbreak at this time will have to worry about a single cost with regard to anything concerning this travesty.”

It may not be news to get these families cheering. But it certainly is comforting, given their great loss.

An anonymous donor has provided $175,000 to pay for the funeral costs of every victim of the shooting. This will ensure that the families will not have to cover these costs themselves.

This is a tremendous kindness, in light of this event. These families won’t have to worry about how they will cover the costs of burying their loved ones

This will allow them to focus on the healing process.

The fact that this was an anonymous gift speaks volumes. We have no indication who made this donation.

Obviously, it was someone of means, who could provide $175,000. But beyond that, it is a mystery.

That’s great. All too often, celebrities show off their “compassion” during times of trial. Recently, Meghan Markle was blasted for flying from California to appear at the shooting site.

But this person is not making the same mistake. Instead of drawing attention to themselves, they are simply helping those in need.

It was a class act and testament to the true character of millions of Americans around the country.

Key Takeaways:

  • An anonymous donor gave $175,000 to cover funeral costs for Uvalde victims.
  • This comes as celebrities often use tragedies to draw attention to themselves.
