President Joe Biden’s senior adviser for migration Tyler Moran is fleeing the sinking ship that is the Biden White House at the end of January. Moran has only been in that role since July.

Biden’s chief domestic policy adviser Susan Rice said, “Tyler has been an invaluable member of our team since the transition and a tremendous asset in our effort to rebuild a fair and humane immigration system.”

According to Politico: “It’s the latest change-up for the Biden team handling migration and the border. Moran replaced AMY POPE over the summer. ROBERTA JACOBSON, the Biden team’s “border czar” early on, departed in April.

“There have been some mid and low-level aides who have departed as well. The White House said they didn’t have a replacement for Moran yet but are confident that six weeks gives them enough time.”

Ater Moran replaced Pope the White House issued a statement that said:

“Amy had always intended to join the Biden Administration for a short time with an expected departure in the mid-summer. Tyler has been a key part of the team dating back to the Biden-Harris Transition and has been preparing for this transition for a little while now.”
