Joe Biden And Alec Baldwin Step In it, Seem To Defend Disgraced Gov Andrew Cuomo: “He’s done a hell of a job… cancel culture”

Alec Baldwin tried to blame cancel culture for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s resignation from office Tuesday over credible accusations of sexual harassment. Cuomo disgraced himself and only stayed around for as long as he did for fear of retribution.

But for Alec, the situation is “tragic” before seeming to blame cancel culture for Cuomo’s epic fall from grace.

Alec said: “Regardless of what you think of Cuomo, this is a tragic day. Party politics in this country draw ambitious but ultimately isolated, even socially maladjusted men and women who, given the current cancel culture, will likely have their shortcomings exposed and magnified.”

Baldwin said earlier about cancel culture: “It’s like trawling.

“It’s like a giant, mile-long net and you’re catching a lot of people, more than a few who deserve it, and more than a few who don’t.

“Or they don’t deserve to have their careers and their lives destroyed.”

“First, I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” Cuomo said after the AG report was released and his fate was sealed.

“I am 63 years old. I’ve lived my entire adult life in public view. That is just not who I am and that’s not who I have ever been.”

Joe Biden also stepped in it seeming to defend Cuomo saying he did a hell of a job.

“He’s done a hell of a job … that’s why it’s so sad,” Biden said before the media pounced.

A flustered Joe tried to dodge the question but when CNN’s Kaitlan Collins held firm, Biden snapped:

“I’m not going to comment anymore on Andrew Cuomo.”
