After Democrat Leader Spends $70,000 On Private Security – Cori Bush Says “Defund The Police” And That You Should “Suck It Up”
All throughout last year and into this year, Democrats pushed for defunding local police departments.
They quickly learned what a mistake that was, as crime has been skyrocketing in major cities.
Now, Joe Biden and D.C. Democrats are trying to pretend like they never tried to destroy our PDs.
But one particular D.C. Democrat is in hot water. She can’t deny she was (and still is) an outspoken supporter of defunding police.
Yet while she is advocating for you to lose your protection, she is shelling out big bucks for private security.

“So, if I end up spending 200,000, if I spend ten more dollars on it, you know what, I get to be here to do the work. So, suck it up. And defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police and put that money into social safety nets. Because we’re trying to save lives.”

Never before have we seen a Democrat so utterly out of touch. This woman, while in the same breath calling to defund the police, defends her use of thousands of dollars for private security.
And when people confronted her on the issue, she has the gall to say, “Suck it up.”
This is such a prime example of liberal entitlement. This woman gets to enjoy private security, able to spend upwards of $70,000 to protect herself.
Yet she has no problem with denying you the same privilege.
Obviously, the average American can’t spend 70 grand on security. Most Americans don’t earn that much in a year.
Yet this woman wants to take crucial funding that keeps your streets safe, and put it into “social safety nets.”
Which is often code for socialist welfare programs.
She’d rather spend your tax dollars on giving money to migrants and cell phones to the homeless, than on cops that protect you.
And she smugly defends it, as if you’re too stupid to even question her.
For anyone to continue to support such corruption is beyond us. Yet there will be people in her district that will keep voting for this crook.
