Donald Trump Comes Roaring Back In 2021 – Republicans Plan To Honor The President By Naming State Park For Him

Sharing is caring!

President Trump will always be near and dear in the hearts of those who understand the great things he did for America.

While he gets a lot of hate from the left, he gets even more love from the patriots on the right. And we are seeing that today more than ever.

Just this week, an Ohio state lawmaker introduced some historic legislation through House Bill 261, and I know this is making Trump smile from ear to ear

Check it out from The Hill:

Under the bill, Ohio’s Mosquito Lake State Park will be renamed Donald J. Trump State Park, in an effort to celebrate the former president who led in the state in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.

This past year we have seen lots of calls to rename monuments and parks, most of them part of the cancellation of history no longer deemed acceptable by the left.

However, this is one park renaming that I can definitely get behind.

The impact that President Trump had across America, and especially in states like Ohio where he lead in both 2016 and 2020 is undeniable and it only makes sense that the citizens who reside there would want to show their appreciation through lasting changes like this one.

State Rep. Mike Lychik (R) went on to say about President Trump:

“This enthusiasm for our former president was also historic throughout the state of Ohio last November as he pushed for initiatives and policies that was very well-received with my constituency and the state,” he said, according to The Associated Press.

In fact, Ohio’s Trumbull County where the park is located is filled with Trump fans so this would be very well received in the area.

Well, count me in Ohio. I think this is an amazing idea and I imagine will greatly boost tourism to the park for anyone else who wants to support the ideals that President Trump instilled throughout his presidency.

Now the only question remains is if Ohio can last through the Biden presidency without getting their new park cancelled!

Key Takeaways:

  • State Rep Mike Lychik (R) introduced House Bill 261
  • The new bill would rename the state park after President Trump
