Congregation Cheers Loudly For Trump And Melania At Palm Beach Mega-Church On Easter

Former President Donald Trump and first lady Melania were greeted with a thunderous reception at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens on Easter Sunday.

The couple was in the front row at the Florida mega-church when cheers and applause broke out when they were introduced by senior Pastor Todd Mullins.

Mullins introduced the Trumps to the congregation with: “It’s also our privilege, my privilege today to welcome the President and, Mrs. Trump, too.”

“We always welcome everyone to join us at Christ Fellowship in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus,” Mullins stated.

“This year, perhaps more than ever, we hope that Jesus’ message of hope and salvation spreads widely and brings joy to all who hear it,” the pastor said.

The crowd went wild.

From The New York Post:

The former first couple was met with cheers, to which both responded with waves and smiles.

In a statement after the service on the special guests, Mullins, whose father Tom was a member of the then-President Trump’s Evangelical Executive Advisory Board, said, “We always welcome everyone to join us at Christ Fellowship in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.”

Following the service, the duo returned to their Mar-a-Lago estate to spend time with family at an Easter egg roll taking place on the property.

Seen in attendance were Donald Trump Jr., his five children, his partner Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eric Trump, Lara Trump and their son and daughter.

“I’m not sure they’re working all that hard for it but it’s a good tradition nonetheless and they had fun,” Trump Jr. joked in a Rumble video Sunday.

Promoting the video, the president’s namesake called the Easter egg roll a “great and wholesome family tradition that we’ve been doing for a long time,” in an Instagram story.

The exclusive resort also offered bunny-shaped cakes for children to decorate, something a few of Don Jr.’s children took part in.
