Tucker Carlson Rips AOC For Demanding Reparations For Migrants: “Who cares what she thinks”
Fox News host Tucker Carlson ripped Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after the New York Rep called for migrants separated under former President Donald Trump to get reparations. “It’s just interesting to come to a place where a low-IQ race-baiter like that has an important voice in national policy,” Tucker said.
“Like, who cares what she thinks? Obviously the border policy now is a disaster,” Tucker said. “To be fair, it’s been a disaster for a long time.”
“It doesn’t serve the interest of most Americans. And it won’t because people that use the magic word, which is ‘racism,’ to cow the rest of the country into submission.”
“She wants to change the population, she wants her party to be more powerful, I get it. But we’re allowing her and people like her to do that because we’re afraid of being called names.”
“Until decent people shed their fear of being smeared by someone whose opinion you really shouldn’t care about, we’re never going to have a rational immigration policy that helps everybody,” said Tucker.
“I don’t care what whatever that woman’s name is thinks,” Carlson said. “And no one should care what she thinks.”
AOC said earlier:
“As we’ve seen there are arrivals and undocumented children – rather unaccompanied children that have come at the border and this had lead to completely inhuman and unacceptable, horrifying conditions of children in CBP [Customs and Border Protection] custody. And it’s unacceptable and it’s horrifying.
She also said the migrant families separated at the border during Trump’s presidency are ‘owed reparations Period.’
“I’ve been in contact with the Biden Administration personally. What is different is they’re trying to figure out,”
“How to find the resources to end his problem.
“I don’t want to excuse any of this,” she said of Biden’s policies. “We should be doing better by now.”
“They wanna say, ‘But what about the surge? Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who’s using the term ‘surge’ around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame,” AOC said.
“And that’s a problem because this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents and we are not being invaded, which by the way is a white supremacist idea-philosophy, the idea that if another is coming in the population that this is an invasion of who we are,” AOC said.
