Democrat Plan to Stop Midterm Red Wave Backfires – Supreme Court Poll from CNN Shows GOP Gets Bigger Boost than Democrats

Sharing is caring!

It’s possible a Democrat within the Supreme Court leaked the upcoming decision on Roe for political purposes. Some have speculated that news that Roe would be overturned would light a fire under liberal voters.

Perhaps voters will rally around the left and save their majorities in Congress in order to save “abortion rights” in this country.

But if that was the real goal, Democrats have failed once again. Because even CNN is admitting what has really happened.

From Daily Wire:

“The share of registered voters who say they are extremely or very enthusiastic about voting this fall rose 6 points between the first survey and the second, but that increase is about even across party lines,” CNN reported. “Among Democrats, 43% now say they are extremely or very enthusiastic, up 7 points. Among Republicans, it’s 56%, up 9 points. And voters who say overturning Roe would make them ‘happy’ are nearly twice as enthusiastic about voting this fall as those who say such a ruling would leave them ‘angry’ (38% extremely enthusiastic among those happy, 20% among those angry).”

Ouch. Democrats were hoping the news that Roe would be overturned would energize their flagging base.

Democrats are facing major setbacks this fall, as voters flood the polls to elect Republicans in their place.

The left assumed voters will flock to support Democrats, out of fear abortion would be outlawed in numerous states.

But a new CNN poll says otherwise. As usual, they oversampled liberals. But even so, they found that Democrat enthusiasm only rose about 7 points.

Republicans, however, saw bigger gains. Republican voters are more enthusiastic about the news, with those “extremely enthusiastic” up by 9 points.

Overall, more Republican voters are eager for the election, by 56%-43%. And there are more voters happy about the overturning of Roe than there are those who are upset.

It doesn’t seem like this issue is going to help Democrats. Most Americans still blame Joe Biden and his party for rampant inflation, rising gas prices, an open border, and all the other crises hitting our nation.

Rallying behind abortion won’t be enough to change that. Furthermore, Democrats have protested and tried to bully the Supreme Court over this ruling, an ugly move. Especially when major Democrats refuse to condemn the leak in the first place.

Things probably won’t go well for them this November.

Do you think the Red Wave is still coming this Fall?
