Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich dropped the hammer on Vice President Kamala Harris after another subpar performance by the VP left people wondering how someone that lacking could reach the highest levels of our government.

Host Sean Hannity played a clip of Harris during a visit to St. Landry Parish, La., where she flubbed her speech “talking about the significance of the passage of time.”

“The significance of the passage of time. So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs,” Harris said. “And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children.”

“You are reminded again today that that reason is the vice president. She’s not only totally incoherent — You know, he may or may not have cognitive decline problems at his age, but at her age, she’s just dumb.

“Let’s be clear, Kamala Harris may be the dumbest person ever elected vice president in American history and that’s why people keeping resigning.

“If you were her national security adviser, and you were competent, and you’d worked hard, and you knew what you were doing, and you watched her in Poland break-up laughing when she’s asked about Ukrainian refugees, you had to feel a sense of total humiliation.

“So I’m not surprised that that particular adviser resigned because it’s very clear that Kamala Harris should never, ever be allowed to leave the country,” he said.

From The New York Post:

Vice President Kamala Harris’ national security adviser has become the latest high-profile staffer to leave the veep’s office, according to a report.

Nancy McEldowney, who has worked for Harris since she took office, will be replaced by her deputy Philip Gordon, said an internal memo obtained by Reuters on Monday.

McEldowney reportedly said in the memo that she was stepping down to “focus on some pressing personal matters.”

“This was a difficult decision because I am so deeply committed to the work we do and the crucial national interest we serve,” she wrote. “But after more than a year, this is the right decision for my family.”

It wasn’t immediately clear when McEldowney’s resignation would take effect, though she said she wasn’t “rushing out the door.” A senior administration official told Reuters her last day hasn’t yet been confirmed.
