Alec Baldwin Goes Full Jerk, Fires Back At Widower: “In Buddhism being truthful goes beyond simply not telling lies
Hollywood fallen star Alec Baldwin, famous for his hot temper and ability to hold a grudge, just showed his true colors by attacking a widower. Baldwin took a veiled shot at Matthew Hutchins, the husband of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, or so he will say after the backlash.
And there will be a backlash and Baldwin will lose what little support with the American public he has left after they see what he posted on social media in response to Hutchins talking to the media.
Hutchins was not kind to Alec nor should he be, Alec shot and killed his wife. Most people would understand it is too soon but Alec has a big mouth and a bigger ego and cannot let one slight, perceived or real, pass.
Alec said: “‘In the same way, Rahula,’ the Buddha continued, ‘when anyone feels no shame in telling a deliberate lie, there is no evil, I tell you, they will not do. Thus, Rahula, you should train yourself, “I will not tell a deliberate lie, even in jest,”‘”
“In Buddhism being truthful goes beyond simply not telling lies. It means speaking truthfully and honestly, yes. But it also means using speech to benefit others, not to use it to benefit only ourselves.”
What a jerk.
Matthew Hutchins said earlier: “The idea that the person holding the gun and causing it to discharge is not responsible is absurd to me. Watching him, I just felt so angry.
“I was just so angry to see him talk about her death so publicly in such a detailed way and then to not accept any responsibility after having just described killing her. There were a number of industry standards that were not practiced, and there’s multiple responsible parties.
Matthew previously said, “I have spoken with Alec Baldwin and he is being very supportive.
“I don’t think there are words to communicate the situation.
“I am not going to be able to comment about the facts or the process of what we’re going through right now, but I appreciate that everyone has been very sympathetic.
“I think that we will need a little bit of time before we can really encapsulate her life in a way that is easy to communicate.”
In December on ABC News Baldwin said, “Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but it’s not me.”
The complaint filed by Halyna’s estate, says Baldwin “and the other Defendants in this case failed to perform industry standard safety checks and follow basic gun safety rules while using real guns to produce the movie Rust, with fatal consequences.
“Halyna deserved to live and the Defendants had the power to prevent her death if they only held sacrosanct their duty to protect the safety of every individual on a set where firearms were present instead of cutting corners on safety procedures where human lives were at stake, rushing to stay on schedule and ignoring numerous complaints of safety violations.
“This lawsuit seeks justice for the losses of her survivors and to hold responsible those who caused her tragic death,” the complaint says.
