Hunter Biden Tries To Defend Art Sales, Convicts Himself Instead In Profanity Laced Tirade: ‘F**k Them
Walking scandal Hunter Biden just stepped in it and flubbed his attempt to defend the indefensible – the high prices for his art. Hunter tried to defend his new art racket but seemed to admit the critics were right.
Hunter Biden has a new career as an artist. His art is priced from $70,000 to $500,000. No one, not even his defenders, believes that anyone would pay those prices if he was not Joe’s son. It is beyond belief yet Hunter defended it but in the defense, he gave away the game.
When you snap and resort to hurling vulgar insults at your critics, you are losing. When you do it with arrogant defiance you are not only losing, you are most probably guilty too. But when you agree with your critics that even getting $10 for your art would be ‘amazing’ and you, because of lucking timing, like say having a father who is the president, can command higher prices because art prices are “completely subjective and have nothing to do with anything other than the moment” you are not even trying to hide the obvious grift.
Hunter went on art podcast Nota Bene and made these admissions before arrogantly firing back at the critics saying “f— ’em.” “I never said what my art was going to cost or how much it would be priced at,” Biden said.
“I’d be amazed if my art had sold for $10, just because the first time you ever go about it is the idea someone is attracted to your art, let alone that they would pay something for it,” he admitted all but confirming the pay to play aspect that has many ethics officials worried.
Hunter continued digging a deeper hole saying the “value of an artist’s work is not necessarily determined by the price” because the price is “completely subjective and has nothing to do with anything other than the moment.”
“I could just stay in my studio and paint for myself — and I ultimately do that — but it’s kind of exciting to know that there’s an audience, and for that audience to be able to have its own interpretation of what that painting means to them,” he said.
“It’s been the unfair advantage of my whole life,” he said of having a famous father. “It’s a hell of a lot easier to get noticed, not only by the cop who pulls you over for speeding but also by the school or whatever the endeavor may be.”
“I think I am the most famous artist in the MAGA world,” Biden said.
Former Obama White House ethics chief Walter Shaub was stunned that Hunter’s defense basically proved his guilt.
“The son of a sitting president is amazed anyone would pay more than $10 for his art?” Shaub told Fox News via email.
“He must have been positively flabbergasted when an influence-seeking tycoon gave him a large diamond a few years back,” Shaub joked. “This old diamond? Why I only wear it when I don’t care HOW I look.”

Shaub also pointed to a July 2019 New Yorker article that touched on the diamond the younger Biden received from Chinese energy tycoon Ye Jianming as he was trying to make connections with prominent American political players.
Three art critics and one art professor were asked by POLITICO earlier this week what they thought of Biden’s art and whether it warrants the half-million dollar price tag.
All of them said the prices were too high for what the art is and that the piece’s astronomical value came from Biden’s name, not his skill.
“In the case of anyone who has a celebrity name outside of art, as with Hunter Biden, it’s clearly the name of the artist that’s driving the price and if it sells, then that’s probably also the motivating factor for the person who buys it,” London art critic Tabish Khan said in the article.
