Joe Manchin Just Shook Biden’s Presidency – Democrat Senator Puts An End To The President’s Election Bill
With their slim majority in Congress, Democrats are trying everything they can to gain an upper hand.
They know that 2022 is just around the corner. And millions of Americans are ready to rip power from the left and give it to conservatives.
So, what are crooked leftists to do? Push radical legislation that would upend our voting systems while they have a majority.
Their voting reform bill was on thin ice as it stood. But, thanks to one Democrat with a spine, there is little chance it will pass.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) says he will not vote for Democrats’ sweeping election reform bill, the For the People Act, which he says was crafted in a “partisan manner.”
“…Today’s debate about how to best protect our right to vote and to hold elections, however, is not about finding common ground, but seeking partisan advantage,” he continued.
Moderate Democrat from West Virginia, Joe Manchin, shattered the left’s dream of radical election “reform.”
The senator revealed he will not support the “For the People Act,” saying it was a partisan-driven bill.
He exposed his own party by saying the bill is simply about “seeking partisan advantage.”
Manchin is not wrong in saying that. Among the radical things Democrats wanted to do to our elections includes outlawing all voter ID (including state laws that require it) and making universal mail-ballots the norm nationwide.
Those two changes could be enough to destroy our democracy for all time. But that was only the tip of the iceberg.
Manchin is revealing what other Democrats refuse to admit. Their election bill would make securing our elections impossible.
It could make it very easy for less-than-honest people to exploit that lack of safeguards to either forge ballots, steal ballots, or vote in someone else’s name.
And that’s only for starters.
Democrats really overplayed their hand on this one. As a Democrat from a very red state, Manchin could not sit back and support changes that are unpopular among Americans.
On top of that, he’s putting his foot down on refusing to kill the filibuster so Democrats can overrun him and do whatever a bare majority wants.
Recent polls reveal that most Americans, even many Democratic voters, want more election integrity (like voter ID), not less.
Without Manchin’s support, Senate Democrats do not have enough votes to get this thing passed. It’s DOA.
I guess the Democrats will have to find another way to usher in one-party rule.
Far-left Democrats like Juan Williams (who just left Fox News) just called on Biden to go it alone and just start ramming these things through. But those moves could all get rolled back by the courts or the person who succeeds him.
