Josh Hawley Scores Big Win As New Book Debuts As Best Seller: #6 Nonfiction Hardcover In USA
Josh Hawley scored a huge win over cancel culture when his new book “The Tyranny of Big Tech” debuted as a best seller. Simon and Schuster dumped Hawley over what he did on Jan 6 causing an uproar across the political divide.
Regnery Publishing scooped up the book and we waited to see what the public would do. The book came out on May 4th and has already sold over 21,000 copies. He ranks sixth in the nation for hardcover nonfiction. Here is the top 6:

That is pretty good company for Hawley to keep. Hawley said: “The Tyranny of Big Tech is officially a Wall Street Journal and New York Times Best Seller – thanks to everyone who has supported and read the book.”

According to Publishers Weekly, Hawley’s book ranks sixth in the nation for hardcover frontlist nonfiction.
Since the book was released on May 4, Hawley has sold nearly 21,000 copies and shows no sign of slowing down. In its first week on Amazon’s “Top 20 Most Sold & Most Read Books of the Week” list, Hawley’s book ranked number 15.
The Washington-based Regnery Publishing company made a deal with Hawley shortly after New York-based Simon and Schuster canceled their deal with the senator one day after the Capitol riot due to a “pressure campaign organized by leftist activists.”
Their reasoning for pulling back on the deal, Simon and Schuster claimed without evidence, was that Hawley is linked to the storming of Capitol because he publicly questioned the 2020 election results.

Deleting earlier tweet about bulk sales of Sen. Hawley’s book and clarifying/correcting. Yes, conservative group bought $65,000 in bulk copies. But, contrary to @Forbes report, Regnery Publishing pres. Tom Spence said these sales *were not* counted as part of bestseller lists.
