Kyle Rittenhouse And Lawyer Issue Warning To Media: “We’re gonna make the media pay for what they did to me
Kyle Rittenhouse and his new lawyer, Todd McMurtry, the lawyer who represented Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann, went on Fox News last night and issued a warning to CNN, MSNBC, and all the other media outlets who smeared Kyle.
Kyle said: “Well, we’re gonna make the media pay for what they did to me. They made it hard for me to live a normal life. I can’t go out in the public. I can’t go to the store. It’s hard for me to go anywhere without security.
“Doing basic things like taking my dog to the dog park is difficult so they made it really difficult to be normal and they affected future job opportunities for me. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to work or get a job because I’m afraid an employer may not hire me.
Kyle said earlier this month on Fox News:
“Everywhere I go, I have to have security. I can’t go to Walmart. I can’t go to Target.

“I have to have somebody with me because there are people out there that want to hurt me because of the false narratives.
“I don’t believe I’ll have a fair shake at getting a job because a place may not want to hire me because they may have seen something that was written about me.
“And they may have that false narrative in their head.
“The media smeared me from the beginning.
“They made it almost impossible for me to get a fair shake.
“They made it difficult for me to live my life today.
“Half of the world hates me because of the false narratives that were put out and they need to be held accountable.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis urged Klke to sue the corporate media after his not guilty verdict last year.

Gov. Ron DeSantis offered more thoughts about the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse Saturday. The Governor suggested that his ordeal should prompt lawmakers to look harder at allowing people to sue libelous media companies.
DeSantis, in an emailed essay from his re-election campaign, urged Rittenhouse “to sue every corporate media outlet and every moronic commentator who smeared him into oblivion.”
The Republican Governor’s email also calls for more restrictions on media — and advertisers — supporting “defamatory material,” specifically allowing civil lawsuits against both.
DeSantis said that “states need to make sure that those falsely smeared by corporate media have adequate recourse under state law to bring defamation actions.”
