Chicago Man Points Gun Directly at Fox News Crew As Reporter Does Gun Violence Story
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot needs to resign immediately. For many reasons but mainly because she spent yesterday bickering with Texas Governor Gregg Abbott about community safety rather than addressing the rampant crime in Chicago.
And this morning while a local Fox 32 reporter named Joanie Lum was filming in the upscale River North area a hooded man appeared behind her and pointed a gun directly at the camera. (See video below)
Lum was doing a report on gun violence in Chicago when the gunman appeared to Lightfoot’s everlasting shame. This was not at 3 am or in a high crime part of town (true the entire city is now a high-crime area) but rather in an upscale part of town frequented by tourists.
Good Morning Chicago anchor Anita Padilla said Lum is okay but “shaken.”
It happened to @JoanieLum and her photog at 7:06am. The gun was one foot from her head as he pointed at the camera or cameraman Gary. She is understandably shaken. Thank God she is okay.

As for the worst mayor in a city known for bad one, Lori Lightfoot, she should be ashamed of herself.
Because this is how she spent yesterday:
“Gov Abbott, instead of coming after my city, take a moment to think about how YOU can stop this carnage. I work day and night to stop the violence.
“I see the suffering. Open your eyes. Lives are being lost. Be a part of the solution or get the hell out of the way.”
