Democrats still can’t get over the fact that free-speech advocate Elon Musk is running Twitter. Since he’s taken over, major changes have come to the Blue Bird. One of the most critical, though, has been the removal of thousands of employees who were seemingly dead weight.
Musk laid off many workers to make the company profitable. He also cleaned house of those who were abusing Twitter to censor users, shutting down speech they did not like. Some of these ex-workers decided to get even with Musk. But they quickly found out how stupid they are.

Business Insider reports that five former Twitter employees who were laid off after Elon Musk took control of the company have had their class-action lawsuit against the company dismissed. The ex-employees signed arbitration agreements as part of their employment contracts with Twitter, which stated that they would file legal complaints against the company in arbitration rather than in court. The contracts also included a class-action waiver. US District Judge James Donato upheld this decision in favor of the social media behemoth.
Lol, really!? These numbskulls forgot they signed an arbitration agreement? How dumb are they? An arbitration agreement is part of many contracts. Most user agreements contain them, these days. By signing their employment contracts, these former Twitter workers were agreeing they could not sue Twitter in the future.
If they had any grievances with the company, they would have to be settled out of court. That also means they can’t join a class action lawsuit against Twitter. Arbitration saves a fortune for a company, since it can avoid long and costly legal battles.
These employees should have looked at the fine print when they signed their contracts. Maybe they were hoping Elon’s lawyers wouldn’t have noticed they signed arbitration agreements. Whatever the case, they cannot sue Twitter or Elon for firing them. They can get a settlement through arbitration, but it eliminates the chance of a judge hammering Twitter with some big payout.
While this is good news for Musk, the battle is far from over. Other employees are still suing Twitter. And the left continues to look for ways to discredit Twitter and its new owner. All because he committed the “sin” of letting Americans freely speak their minds online.
