Kathy Griffin Takes Ugly Swipe At Sarah Sanders During Meltdown Over ‘Friend’ Amber Heard’s Loss In Court
Kathy Griffin was not happy her friend Amber Heard lost in court yesterday and had a little meltdown trying to defend Amber in a radio interview with former White House correspondent Brian Karem. Kathy said she “believed” Amber and was “disturbed” by the verdict as “a woman and a lifelong feminist.”
Kathy exposed how little she knew about the case repeating the Kate Moss abuse rumor Moss herself debunked under oath. Facts don’t matter to Kathy. But it was when she took a nasty swipe at Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ appearance that she gave up her so-called feminist game.
Because if Kathy was sincere about her beliefs she would never attack one of the most accomplished working women in America over how she looks on television. Sarah was a very successful political operative before serving as the 31st White House press secretary.
She worked for Fox News and just won the GOP primary and will soon be the Governor of Arkansas. She is doing this while raising three small children.
A real feminist would celebrate Sarah not trash her. But Kathy defends a fraud and takes ugly, nasty, cheap shots at a woman of substance?
Kathy said:
“Well, I am a friend with Amber Heard I completely believe her. I don’t even know what the question is it’s actually really disturbing to me as a woman and a lifelong feminist.
“Also just you know what I mean there’s just been going on Hollywood about him being abuser since Kate Moss is the first time I heard about.

“I heard about it and Winona Ryder when they were dating and he had a Winona forever owner tattoo and then she had her tattoo I think it was cjhanged to to El Diablo.
“Which is not a good sign.
“But I will say I cannot speak for these women but I wonder if they just changed their tune because nobody wants to get Amber Hearded it and I say that and I am a verb myself.

Brian Karem chimed in: “I’ve been Brian Karem’ed once or twice in the White House briefing room, I feel ya.”
Kathy said: “Oh I thought they were gonna physically throw you out a couple of times, epecially Sarah Huckabee, she’s a sturdy gal, I thought she could have taken you, Brian, no offence.”
Karem: “Hey I was a middle linebacker I think I could hang.”
Kathy: “Like she wasn’t.”
Amber Heard said: “The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband.

“I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated.
“It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously.
“I believe Johnny’s attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the U.K.
“I’m sad I lost this case.
“But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American — to speak freely and openly.”
