President Biden Sent Reeling by New Report – Joe Tries to Spin It, But the American Economy Is Heading into a Tailspin
Joe Biden is responsible for America’s economic troubles. But the DNC puppet refuses to admit his failures. In fact, he jumped on the news that the country added over 400,000 jobs last month.
From Washington Examiner:
President Joe Biden celebrated the release of the April jobs report on Friday and continued to advance his economic agenda.
The latest data showed the economy adding 428,000 jobs in April, bringing the total jobs added during Biden’s term in office up to 8.3 million.
Sounds good, right? But it doesn’t come close to correcting the major problems our economy faces.
From Townhall:
The Department of Labor reported that 5.9 million Americans were unemployed, 200,000 more than before the pandemic. 1.5 million of out of work Americans were considered “long-term” unemployed — 362,000 more than before COVID hit the United States.
Meanwhile the labor force participation rate in April was 62.2 percent, a 0.2 percent decrease from March and 1.2 percent lower than February 2020. The number of Americans not in the labor force who want a job numbered 5.9 million in April, 900,000 more than before the pandemic.
Not only that, but hourly wages went up only 0.3% as inflation grew by 8.5%. Then there’s the fact that retired Americans are being forced to go back to work.
From The Daily Wire:
Americans are leaving retirement due to inflation and a tight job market, according to data released last month by job platform Indeed…
Indeed reported that as of March 2022, roughly 3.2% of workers who were retired a year earlier are now employed.
That’s going backwards, Joe.
Joe Biden is trying to take credit for the fact that 428,000 Americans got jobs last month. Needless to say, that is a drop in the bucket compared to the many problems triggered by his America-last policies.
There are 5.9 million Americans out of work, 200,000 more than before the pandemic. What about those folks, Joe?
And those that are working get to enjoy rapid inflation, which has wiped out whatever small pay increases they’ve seen in recent months.
Biden is directly responsible for inflation when he flooded the economy with 1.2 trillion new dollars last year.
The labor participation rate dropped. And retired Americans, winching from inflation, have been forced to get back to work.
Biden’s incompetence is even hurting retired Americans, people Biden claimed to want to help.
No matter how you slice it, Biden’s economy is in the toilet. And because his Fed refuses to make the needed changes, a recession might be on the way.
