Sean Hannity Dares Hillary Clinton To Sue Fox News: “It’s called discovery and it’s called depositions, bring it on
Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton fired back at Fox News and former President Donald Trump during a speech at the New York Democratic Committee’s nominating convention in Manhatten yesterday
Hillary was met with protesters as she arrived but that didn’t stop her from giving a fiery rebuttal to special counsel John Durham’s latest filing that came with a subtle warning she may sue Fox News and Donald Trump for libel.
She complained that Fox News is coming after her to distract from former president Donald Trump’s mounting legal problems. She said, as she denounced the new scandal she is squarely in the middle of, that Trump and Fox are ‘getting awfully close to actual malice in their attacks.’
Hillary said: “By the way, they’ve been coming after me again lately, in case you might have noticed. It’s funny. The more trouble Trump gets into, the wilder the charges and conspiracy theories about me seem to get.
“So now his accountants have fired him, and investigations drop closer to him, and right on cue, the noise machine gets turned up, doesn’t it?
“Fox leads the charge with accusations against me, counting on their audience to fall for it again.
“And as an aside, they’re getting awfully close to actual malice in their attacks. But as I said, don’t get distracted.
“Don’t let the extremes of any or either side throw us off course. Focus on the solutions that matter to voters, not the slogans that only matter on Twitter.”
Enter Sean Hannity who dared Hillary to sue.
“It’s called discovery and it’s called depositions,” he said.
He added: “Bring it on. Malice? Really? It’s called news.
“Hillary, we invite you to bring it on.
“It’s from a legal filing we quoted exactly from the filing that was put in federal court.”
