Ex-DNI Chief Blows Whistle On Barack Obama And Joe Biden: “He briefed Obama and Biden about specific intel John Durham now has about a Hillary plan to falsely accuse and vilify Donald Trump with a scandal
Ex-DNI chief John Ratcliffe below the whistle on Barack Obama, Joe Biden and others in the Obama administration today on Fox News when he revealed they had been informed of Hillary Clinton’s campaign’s plan to try to smear Trump with Russia story to distract from her email scandal.
“What did John Brennan tell President Obama in the Oval Office in 2016?” Fox News’ Bill Hemmer asked ex DNI chief John Ratcliffe today.
Ratcliffe said: “Well, I can talk about this because this part has been declassified. He briefed President Obama and Vice President Biden and other members of the national security team about this specific intelligence that John Durham now has about a Hillary Clinton plan to falsely accuse and vilify Donald Trump with a scandal, and the discussion around that and whether or not it was good intelligence.
“And so everything that happened after that is one of the reasons that John Durham is investigating.
“Those are the issues that John Durham is looking at and I think there will be many more. I would expect there to be quite a few more indictments because of that. There wasn’t a proper predicate to begin that investigation and John Durham has said that publicly already,’ he added.
The declassified documents backing up Ratcliffe’s claims say:
“This memorandum contains sensitive information that could be source revealing. It should be handled with particular attention to compartmentation and need-to-know. To avoid the possible compromise of the source, any investigative action taken in response to the information below should be coordinated in advance with Chief Counterintelligence Mission Center, Legal.
“It may not be used in any legal proceeding — including FISA applications — without prior approval.
“Per FBI verbal request, CIA provides the below examples of information the CROSSFIRE HURRICANE fusion cell has gleaned to date.
“An exchange [REDACTED] discussing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.
“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED].
“CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”
“At my direction, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has now provided almost 1,000 pages of materials to the Department of Justice in response to Mr. Durham’s document requests,” Ratcliffe said when he declassified these documents.
“I will continue to ensure the Intelligence Community’s responsiveness to the DOJ’s requests. We also look forward to supporting the DOJ in further declassifications consistent with their investigation.
“As the President has made clear, we must be appropriately transparent with the American people and give them the confidence that the extraordinary work of Intelligence professionals is never misused or politicized,” Ratcliffe said.
The documents claim Joe Biden and Barack Obama discussed whether the intelligence about Hillary’s ruthless plan was good or bad so some in that briefing room may find a way out of this mess, but others will not because this isn’t going away.
One thing to watch is what happens to Jake Sullivan, one of the first to promote the false story days after James Comey reopened Hillary’s email probe.
Sullivan is Biden’s current National Security Adviser.
