Biden Faces Calls For New Investigation – Senator Blackburn Wants Special Counsel For China Connections
There is a reason some people call Biden “China Joe.” Way back when he was vice president, Joe Biden had a chummy relationship with the leaders of the communist country. His son even got a major investment from a Chinese firm, just as Joe was negotiating with their government.
And, as it turns out, other members of the Biden family have had dealings with the CCP.
That should raise more than just eyebrows among Americans. China is our biggest competitor around the globe. China has its tentacles in our major industries, universities, and science labs. And China has a record of attacking the human rights of its own people.
Now, a Republican senator wants answers and is calling on the AG. From Breitbart:
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told Breitbart News on Monday evening that she thinks Attorney General Merrick Garland must appoint a Special Counsel to investigate President Joe Biden’s family members’ dealings with the Chinese Communist Party…
Blackburn’s interview came after Breitbart News on Sunday evening published a 2019 document from the U.S. Attorney’s office in Delaware showing that the IRS, as part of a criminal investigation into the president’s son, Hunter Biden, subpoenaed JPMorgan Chase Bank for financial records of Hunter Biden, the president’s brother James Biden, their associates Devon Archer and Eric Schwerin, and a number of business entities with which they were involved.
Sen. Blackburn stated that Attorney General Garland should appoint a special counsel to look into the Biden family’s connections to Communist China. This comes as reports keep spilling out about how various members of the Biden family interacted with the foreign country.
Even the IRS has looked for documents relating to Hunter Biden and James Biden, both men connected with Chinese firms.
Many people have wondered why Biden appears to be going so soft on China. Trump kept China’s feet to the fire, using tariffs to make sure American-made goods stay competitive. He had no trouble calling out the communist regime for its abuses and questionable actions.
Yet Joe has done no such thing. His administration has done very little to check China or to stop its history of human rights violations.
Will Biden ever call out China for its hand in the 2020 crisis? Will he try to stop China from annexing Taiwan, a free country? Will he demand answers from the country for what they are doing to their minorities? Or is Joe just as much in the pocket of this communist government, as his family?
We don’t have answers to any of these questions. But Garland can find out quite a bit if he bothers to investigate.
