Alec Baldwin Loses Temper, Charges Reporter With Umbrella In Threatening Manner In New York City Who Asked About Shooting
New York Post reporter Jon Levine ran into Alec Baldwin on the Upper East Side of New York City last night and tried to ask the Hollywood actor a few questions about his ABC interview.
It did not go well but Levin did manage to get a glimpse of Baldwin’s famously bad temper. In the video below, you can see his temper flash in all its glory. Baldwin at first ignored Levine’s questions. His wife Hilaria tries to get Levine to back off before Baldwin loses it and storms at the reporter holding his umbrella in a threatening manner.
Another assault charge before he even finds out if the Santa Fe Da will charge him criminally n the shooting would be a bad look for Alec. As far as the Santa Fe DA, she does not believe as Alec does that Baldwin is in the clear.
Baldwin said during his ABC interview: “I don’t. I’ve been told by people who are in the know that it’s highly unlikely that I would be charged with anything criminally.”
“I’ve spoken to the sheriff’s department multiple times,” Baldwin said. “I don’t have anything to hide.”
But Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies is not sure Baldwin is in the clear.
She said she will “exercise my prosecutorial discretion to its fullest, including filing charges that are supported by probable cause,” before adding she is “exploring various legal theories at the time.”
She said:
“Everyone involved in the handling and use of firearms on the set had a duty to behave in a manner such that the safety of others was protected, and it appears that certain actions and inactions contributed to this outcome.
“As the First Judicial District Attorney, I have not made a decision to charge or not charge any individuals involved in the shooting that resulted in the death of Halyna Hutchins and injury of Joel Souza.
“Once I have had the opportunity to review the complete investigation, certain individuals may be criminally culpable for his/her actions and/or inactions on the set of Rust,” she said.
Santa Fe Sheriff Adan Mendoza said:
“Guns don’t just go off.
“So whatever needs to happen to manipulate the firearm, he did that, and it was in his hands.”
