Sen John Kennedy Blows Whistle: ‘The Democrats are pretty much in total disarray, President Biden is sort of like Kevin Bacon at the end of Animal House’

Sharing is caring!

Senator John Kennedy went on Fox News to detail what he has witnessed as the Dem Party drags their spending bills over the finish line saying the members are “in total disarray.”

He said: “Here’s what I’ve observed. The Democrats are pretty much in total disarray. President Biden is sort of like Kevin Bacon at the end of ‘Animal House,’ when people were stampeding him and he’s saying, ‘calm down, be calm.

“Everything’s under control.’ They say they have a ‘framework.’ To me, a framework is when your car has two wheels down, its axle dragging, you’re in the ditch, you don’t have any help and you tell your spouse, ‘Honey, I’ve got a framework to get us out of this ditch.’

“I think people who are successful financially should be applauded, not criticized in America.

“But I love this term framework.

“And I’ve seen a little of it. I know this:

“They’re going to try to crush small business, and they’re making tax policy on the basis of class warfare,” he said.

Biden reportedly told the Dems on the hill today before leaving for Europe: “We badly need a vote on both of these measures.

“I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that the House and Senate majorities and my presidency will be determined by what happens in the next week.”

Pelosi is taking a huge gamble trying to pass one of the bills before Biden gets to Rome telling her Party not to embarrass Biden by not passing the bill.

From The Hill:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told Democrats she will bring a Senate-passed bipartisan infrastructure bill to the floor later Thursday, rolling the dice with progressives who are vowing to vote down the roads-and-bridges package unless a bigger social spending package moves with it.

Pelosi “said she’s going to hold the vote open until we get a majority,” House Budget Committee Chairman John Yarmuth (D-Ky.), a member of Pelosi’s leadership team, told The Hill after Democrats’ meeting with President Biden in the Capitol.

Addressing her rank-and-file members after Biden, Pelosi rallied Democrats to give the president a victory as he embarks on a European trip Thursday to address the Group of 20 and a United Nations climate summit.

“When the president gets off that plane we want him to have a vote of confidence from this Congress,” Pelosi said, according to a source in the room.

“In order for us to have success, we must succeed today.”
