What does Kamala Harris really bring to the table?
Yes, we know, very few folks in the Biden administration bring anything at all. But the so-called vice president is supposed to be a very influential and effective leader.
Does that describe Harris? Uh… I don’t think so. She was picked by Biden to “fix” the border crisis (that he created). She has done nothing that appears to be addressing the issue.
Now, 56 Republicans are demanding Biden man up and fire this failure.

More than 50 House Republicans are urging President Biden to remove Vice President Kamala Harris from her role dealing with the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed the southern border in recent months — accusing her of “inaction” on the crisis due to her failure to visit the border…
“In the 85 days since the Vice President has been tasked with solving this crisis, she has yet to visit the border and meet with Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials and local law enforcement officials.”
A group of House Republicans sent a letter to Biden, urging him to remove Harris from her role of addressing the border crisis.
Among the reasons they listed for her removal was the fact that she was tapped over 85 days ago, but has yet to actually view the border.
How can someone fix a problem they refuse to look at. Does your doctor prescribe pills without even checking you? Does a mechanic repair a car before looking under the hood?
Then how can Harris offer any real solutions if she doesn’t even know how overrun the border is?
These Republicans claim that her “inaction” is making the crisis even worse.
On top of that going to the border, she has not recommended any solutions that would address the problem.
Instead, she wants to send millions of dollars to foreign nations, from which the migrants are coming. This money won’t ensure the foreign governments will do anything about the caravans.
These payments look more like shakedown money than an actual solution.
While these Republicans are stressing a sensible decision, it is unlikely Biden will listen to them.
The man of “unity” has yet to show any consideration to Republicans on Capitol Hill. By all appearances, Biden and his Democrats want nothing to do with Republicans.
So, Harris might be “in charge” of this crisis for years to come. Because it will probably last that long.
