Eric Swalwell Loses Temper, Yells At GOP Staffer: “You don’t tell me what to f***ing do”
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) had a meltdown today in the House and took out his frustrations on a GOP staffer. A reporter for The Hill, Scott Wong, detailed the scene on Twitter. He said that Rep. Marjorie Greene Taylor’s (R-GA) Communications Director Nick Dyer went up to Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and told him Biden said he did not have to wear a mask anymore and Swalwell lost it.
Dyer told the Gateway Pundit: “At the top of the steps, I cordially and jovially said ‘Congressman, Biden said you can take off your mask’ as we walked by. I did not yell. I did not tell him to take his mask off.”
“He then chased me inside, aggressively leaned into me, got inches from my face and said ‘Don’t tell me what to f-cking do.’ It was actual verbal assault with an attempt at physical intimidation.”
“I had a mask on as I stepped off the Floor. An aide with @mtgreenee yelled at me to take my mask off. No one should be bullied for wearing a mask. So I told the bully what I thought of his order. Predictably, he went speechless. I regret I wasn’t more explicit,” Swalwell said.
Greene said, “@ericswalwell aggressively approached my staffer, got inches from his face, and verbally assaulted him. He totally lost control in front of me and Capitol Police.”
Scott Wong reported:
