Mark Levin Knocks Mitt Romney Off High Horse: “With all due respect, what a dumb ass”

Sharing is caring!

Conservative radio show Mark Levin knocked Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney off his high horse calling him a “dumb ass.”

If you recall, the media and a few members of the GOP covered up Hunter Biden’s scandal. They simply refused to report on it and refused to hear any evidence assuming it was a political hit job.

Only to find out it was a legitimate investigation the entire time and started back in 2018. Enter Mark Levin.

“Remember when Romney voted to remove President Trump for a perfectly legitimate phone call but dismissed the evidence of Hunter Biden’s serial sleazy business deals as nonsense? With all due respect, what a dumb ass,” Levin said.

“Obviously, it is the province of campaigns and political parties’ opposition research, the media, to carry out political endeavors, to learn about or dust-up one’s opponent. But it’s not the legitimate role of government or Congress, or for taxpayer expense to be used in an effort to damage political opponents,” Romney said at the time.

From The Washington Examiner:

It was revealed last week that Biden is under federal investigation over his taxes.

In February, Romney became the first senator to vote against his own party’s president in an impeachment trial after allegations Trump improperly pursued help from Ukraine ahead of the election to investigate Biden.

“This verdict is ours to render,” Romney said at the time. “The grave question the Constitution tasks senators to answer is whether the president committed an act so extreme and egregious that it rises to the level of a ‘high crime and misdemeanor.’ Yes, he did.”

Romney’s vote sparked the ire of Trump, who said Romney could have won the 2012 election if he had acted in such a manner on the campaign trail.

“Had failed presidential candidate @MittRomney devoted the same energy and anger to defeating a faltering Barack Obama as he sanctimoniously does to me, he could have won the election. Read the Transcripts!” Trump tweeted at the time.
