Ocasio-Cortez Flips Out, Calls For Guaranteed Income For All Americans, 2K per Month Plus 1K per Child Recurring
During an interview with the fake news leftist rage “The Hill,” socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez flipped out and came up with an outrageously stupid proposal.
She says Congress should give $2,000 per household plus $1,000 per child to each family in America.
Ocasio-Cortez was talking about the relief bills that have sailed through Congress when she added “we have to make sure that we demand meaningful change and meaningful assistance for working families. That means $2,000 a month plus $1,000 for your kids, recurring.”

OCASIO-CORTEZ: “When we talk about the solutions that Congress needs to have moving forward, I just think it’s important for us to say that incrementalism is not helpful in this moment.
It’s not helpful for people to say, ‘Oh, well, we got something so we might as well support it.
You know, we got a nickel, we got a dime in a trillion-dollar bill, so a nickel is more than nothing so we should support it,’ is unacceptable.
Not in my community. A nickel doesn’t help.
It’s like putting a Band-Aid on an enormous wound. It’s not going to help us.
And the thing is, is that I would be amenable to accepting this kind of logic if Congress was actually in session and convening.
But if you’re going to say and we’re going to say that this new bill is going to give us $5 and then Congress is going to peace out for another month-long recess, I’m here to say that that’s not going to help our communities.
And we have to make sure that we demand meaningful change and meaningful assistance for working families. That means $2,000 a month plus $1,000 for your kids, recurring.”
This is truly a goofy idea.
Why would anyone take an entry level job when they can make more than that just by having a few extra babies.
Can you imagine how many kids people would have just to jack up their monthly income number?
A guaranteed income based on family size is also a very “soviet” type idea.
As the old Marxist saying goes “from each according to his abilities, to each according to their need.”
The good news is the GOP controlled Senate would not pass such a thing, and even if they did President Trump would immediately veto it.
The bad news is what happens the next time a Democrat becomes president, given how far left that party has moved.
