Hillary Clinton Takes Cheap Shot At Melania Trump and Her Key Initiative: “I think she should look closer to home”
Hillary Clinton drank shots of booze last night on television and went on to take a few cheap and totally unnecessary shots at Melania Trump.
“I’m the last person to comment on anybody’s relationship,” Clinton said on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” when asked to comment on the Trump’s marriage.
On the GOP she blamed them for the divided nature of the country, leaving her role of selling out the Dem base for years strangely out of her calculations.
“I worked with them all,” she said. “That’s what is sad about what is going on right now. There seems to be a refusal for bipartisan cooperation right now.
“We are so divided right now and we’re so hostile toward people that we think don’t agree with us, or are somehow different from us, that somebody has to start trying and bridge that gulf.”
Asked what she really thinks of Melania Trump’s “Be Best” anti-bullying campaign, Clinton spat out, “I think she should look closer to home.”
Nice – what did Melania ever do to you, Hillary? We used to have more respect and left first ladies out of it.
On Nancy Pelosi scandalously ripping up Trump’s State if the Union address Hillary said:
“I thought she was making a very strong point in demonstrating that so much of what he said was untethered from reality and just plain factually wrong.”
“Sometimes it’s the only way to get attention because otherwise his speech, which was filled with so many errors, would have been taken at face value. Because she visibly did that, which then went viral across the internet, people said, wait a minute, maybe we better take another look. I thought it was an interesting and effective gesture.”
When asked which Republican she would have rather faced in 2016 Hillary gave away the game and said:
“Any normal Republican.”
She would have beat the others in the field just like Bernie would have if he had gotten a fair shake. Look, America, after 40 years of getting lied to about stupid wars, offshoring, etc. etc. etc. finally got smart.
That is why picking the safe choice in Joe Biden is such a risk – only Bernie and Trump can draw massive crowds and massive volunteers as well as massive small-donor fundraising.
The reason is simple – only those two have credibility with the voters. They have different styles and different methods and history will be the ultimate judge but only Trump and Bernie will acknowledge the corruption in the establishment and America only trusts one of those two men to fix it. Because everyone else is in on the scam.
If Bernie is not on the ticket the only choice is Trump – something the Dems will find out the hard way.
