Mitt Romney Folds Like Cheap Suit, Faces Fierce Backlash For Caving To Dems: ‘Romney is quite literally a Republican In Name Only’
Mitt Romney folded like a cheap suit on the news that John Bolton is trying to use Trump to sell his book. In a weak display, Romney tossed his lot in with the Democrats.
“It’s pretty fair to say John Bolton has relevant testimony,” Romney told reporters.
“I think it’s increasingly likely that other Republicans will join those of us who think we should hear from John Bolton, and whether there are other witnesses and documents, well that’s another matter.”
But that is only one, the Dems need four and Lisa Murkowski is one they need.
“There are a lot of people trying to divine tea leaves,” Murkowski said.
“I’ve taken a lot of notes — it takes me back to law school. What I haven’t done is I haven’t gone through any of those, but along the way I made little asterisks and notations about what I want to see, what questions I still have.
So I have lot of work to do on my own,” she added.
“Amb. Bolton reportedly heard directly from Trump that aid for Ukraine was tied to political investigations. The refusal of the Senate to call for him, other relevant witnesses, and documents is now even more indefensible,” Pelosi said.
The backlash was swift and fierce:

There is no actual reason to call Bolton because his side of the story is already printed everywhere. This orchestrated pageantry is just designed to make this impeachment farce seem like it matters. It doesn’t
