Larry Kudlow Drops Hammer: “It takes remarkable incompetence to take a booming economy with no inflation, which is what Trump gave Biden, and turn it into a recession, high inflation economy”

Sharing is caring!

Larry Kudlow dropped the hammer on President Biden calling his “woke, progressive” economics ‘incompetent’ on Fox News last night. Kudlow said: “All of this woke, progressive Keynesian economics has just failed dismally, and you should add to that the war against fossil fuels.

“I mean every country, the U.S., Britain, the European Union, they have all fallen into the same trap now. There is some hope with the new prime ministers in Britain and Italy – maybe we can talk about that. There’s also some hope here with the Contract with America, the new Commitment to America which I think – really hits all of the high spots.

“There’s some hope, the new poll, WABC, Washington Post poll- 21% of the swing districts are going Republican. Let me rephrase that. Republicans are ahead 21% over Democrats in swing districts around the country.

“So, people see right through what Mr. Biden is saying and his fraudulent assertions.

“Unfortunately, in the short run we are pretty much all of us in all these countries in recession, going into a recession.

“And the recession is going to get deeper as interest rates rise, and these central banks collectively fight inflation.

“So, it’s going to be a tough story in the short run, very tough story.

“Think of it.

“It’s not an easy thing in about 15 months to take a booming economy with no inflation, which is what Donald Trump gave Biden, and then turn it into a bust recession, high inflation economy.

“That is not easy to do.

“It takes remarkable incompetence.

“And again it’s all this big government, socialism progressivism, and the fight against fossil fuels.

“It’s completely backfired and all your earlier guests I think are right.

“People see right through it and I think there’s going to be a middle-class populist revolt against it,” he said.

He thinks Nancy Pelosi is in big trouble in November. He  wrote:

“Hold on to your hats for this one. An ABC News/Washington Post poll of registered voters shows that Republicans are 21 points up against Democrats in battleground districts across the country.

“That’s right, 21 points and these aren’t even likely voters. They are registered voters and many key pollsters think Republican voters don’t even want to answer polling surveys because the FBI might take their cellphones away.

“Looking at just races rated at least somewhat competitive by ABC’s FiveThirtyEight model, voters favor GOP candidates 55% to 34%.

“Overall, by the way, the likely voter subheading showed a 51-46 Republican-Democratic split and here’s the actual most important key message in this poll.

“The GOP is favored in three of the four issues rated most important by voters: the economy (considered important by (84%), education (77%), inflation (76%) and crime (69%).

“On the economy, the GOP is plus-16, on inflation plus-19, and on crime plus-14. Democrats have a plus-6 for education and schools, although frankly I don’t see how that’s possible with the growing populist support for parental rights in their kids’ education. Historically, when a president’s approval is less than 50% (and Joe Biden is way below that.

“Actually, 42% in the latest Rasmussen poll) his party has lost an average of 37 seats,” he wrote.
